Inspired by the takeover of Chelsea by a Russian billionaire, Premier Thaksin Shinawatra is sounding out the possibility of purchasing Fulham FC. In doing so, he apparently hopes Thai star footballers will have an international stage to play on. However, Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed instantly dismissed Mr Thaksin’s statement saying the club was not for sale. This Post Today excerpt has the details.
