Three British teenage girls go on a rites-of-passage holiday — drinking, clubbing and hooking up, in what should be the best summer of their lives.
Why watch it?
The writer director got the idea for the movie from a disturbing real life incident. Manning Walker says the idea for the story came from a "formative memory" she has of seeing a man being given oral sex on stage during a bar crawl on a holiday she went on as a teenager. "I started writing from there. We spent a bit of time in Malia doing research. We really tried to... engage with real life and what was going on. And then we did some workshops where we talked to 16-year-olds and their concept of consent, and it was quite wild what came out of that."

The Exit

What’s it about?
Set in 1982, Kaew, a trainee exorcist, is hired to exorcise ghosts and perform occult ceremonies without regard to work. Both white and black magic Hoping to create income, she came to ask for Soi, but Kaew's poverty caused Soi's mother to give her to In, Kaew's close friend. In asks Kaew to help him do something before Kaew leaves for Bangkok. By leaving Soi to become In's wife. As time passed, Soi came to find Kaew in Bangkok. Ready to report the news of In's death. Kaew accepts the necklace that is pregnant and comes together. The love between the two begins to rekindle and is ready to come back and destroy everyone involved.

The Dark Mother

In a bygone era in Cambodia, a small family resided. Nuon carried her pregnancy for several months with concerns that her baby may not survive. During her husband's absence, the villagers accused her of being the Dark Mother. Despite Nuon's efforts to protect her child, the local children feared her and refused to stay with her. The subsequent separation from her family left Nuon devastated. She recognised that a mother, whether human or ghost, must be present to care for her children.
