Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 brands, announced the opening of Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong, marking the brand’s debut in Thailand on Feb 18.
The 504-room hotel, Asia Pacific's largest Moxy, is surrounded by an eclectic mix of world-class shopping, stylish restaurants and lively bars. It is also less than a 10-minute walk to BTS Chitlom. Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong stands out in its distinctive pink glow. Guests can check in on the ninth-floor welcome area and bar, which is accessible through The Market Bangkok on the ground floor. The urban design is brought to life with splashes of colour inspired by the legendary Scala Cinema, and walls of graffiti depicting Thai giants. The Library & Plug-In area invites guests to sit back, chill out and work on their laptops, or shoot some pool in the communal lounge. A setup to encourage guests to be social and mingle.
The guestrooms combine functionality and flexibility with playful touches such as coat pegs in the form of elephant heads. Designed for the maximum and versatile use of space, guests can expect modular furniture, including Moxy’s signature Stellar Works foldable chairs and peg walls. Tech-savvy touches include motion-activated LED lights, keyless entry, 55in. flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi.
Bangkok never sleeps and Moxy Grab + Go offers 24/7 snacks and drinks while the bright, open-plan Moxy Bar & Restaurant serves as a lively all-day dining spot boasting a fusion of East and West cuisines. Soon-to-open is the hotel’s chic rooftop bar hosting uplifting evenings with sunset cocktails or parties that overlook the cityscape. Facilitating meetings and private events is a 34m² meeting room with ample natural light and equipped with a flat-screen TV. For guests looking to re-energise, the gym features Moxy's signature pink boxing bag while overlooking the skyline.
