Samui locals and running enthusiasts are invited to join the Bangkok Airways Samui Half Marathon, which will take place at Phru Chaweng Park in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, on June 23.
This is the first running event in the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2024 where runners will have the opportunity to hit the track alongside TV heartthrob Denkhun Ngamnet.
The race has three categories -- 5km fun run, 10km mini marathon and 21km half marathon. Moreover, young runners can look forward to exciting surprises with the debut of the Kids Series Race for children under 10 years old, covering an 800m route packed with fun activities.
The registration fee is 550 baht per person for the 5km race, 600 baht for 10km, 850 baht for 21km and 249 baht for the kids series. Places are limited to 500, 750, 750 and 200 runners, respectively. All runners will receive a T-shirt designed by Asava.
Special for runners who travel with Bangkok Airways from June 16-30, the "Fly To Run" promotion allows them a complimentary running bib (limited to 100 entries), plus a discount code worth 200 baht applicable towards one-way or round-trip flight tickets on all domestic routes serviced by Bangkok Airways (limited to 200 entries).
